Today is Snowdon International Race day... and I am not racing...
I usually represent Wales in this event and it's always a special race. After supporting friends that were racing I must admit I felt a little gutted, so I headed off up into Cwm Bochlwyd for a wild swim.
Shaped like Australia, this lake proved to be my best swim yet. Around half way along you reach a patch of reeds forming channels that you could swim through, where I was treated to the sight of many many fish. Decent sized fish. Big enough you'd consider putting one on your plate!
All in all good therapy. The water was cold but the warm rocks a treat for after.
