I'm currently in the process of moving house so needed to get out of the stress and get a swim-fix! Bella and I headed up the Miner's Track from PYG, drinking in the scents of heather. It was late evening and the wind was picking up, but I was still warm from the brisk walk in.
Don't let this lake fool you by its azure! Its an eerie swim, the first mental obstacle is having to lower yourself into it's depths from the edge as if into a deep pool! There seems to be no bank - just depth... deep, murky, brownish-green dark depths.
A good swim to scare yourself a bit - in a good way!
