Our last day of training in the Alps before the big races - again, with fantastic weather. We were starting to see the benefits of the altitude and heat acclimation, where we virtually flew up to Col
de Balme. Then it was the long descent into
Argentiere, where we met up with
Callum and Frances at the campsite and prepared for 3 days of sitting on our arses and stuffing our faces ;-)

Hi Sarah and Ian,
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos. Stunning scenery.
It was nice to speak to you in the Ben Nevis Inn.
Good Luck to Ian at Keswick and to you both for your future races.
All the best,
Bob Allison.
Sigh! What a great holiday you had and then to cap it off with a wee race! You both only had a 3 day taper? And walks with heavy packs the week before? Damn, y'all are tough!
